Ceiling spotlights give a room focused, even light without hanging fixtures, which makes them a practical choice for kitchens, hallways, bathrooms and low-ceilinged spaces.
Start with the room. In a kitchen, spotlights work well above worktops and hobs, where you need clear task light. In a bathroom, check that the fitting suits damp conditions before you buy. In a living space, spotlights can sit alongside softer sources for a layered effect.
Next, think about layout. A single row suits a narrow corridor, while an evenly spaced grid covers an open kitchen or lounge. Fewer spotlights give a more subtle look, and more of them give brighter, more uniform coverage.
Then consider the light source. LED spotlights are a popular option for homes because they suit everyday use and come in a range of finishes to blend with the ceiling or add a detail.
Spotlights rarely have to do everything alone. If you want a decorative centrepiece in a larger room, pair them with one of our living room chandeliers, using the spots for practical light and the chandelier for character.
Browse the range to compare finishes and styles, and pick the fittings that fit the way you use each room.

Frequently asked questions
Every product page lists the real dimensions in centimetres, with a reference point to help you picture them. Our tip: cut a piece of cardboard to the diameter of the light and hold it up to the ceiling. Above a table, allow 70 to 80 cm (27.6 to 31.5 in) between the bottom of the light and the tabletop.
Still unsure? Send us your room’s dimensions and we’ll advise you.
We describe every design exactly as it is: dimensions, materials (including when there is plastic), and whether the bulb is included. If the product you receive doesn’t match its description, it counts as not as described: we replace it or refund you, and we cover the return postage.
Yes. At checkout, choose the pay in instalments option offered: your order total is then split into several payments, subject to approval by the payment provider.
The number of instalments and the terms (minimum and maximum amount) are shown clearly before you confirm. Any questions? Email us at contact@XXX.com.
Your order is prepared within 1 to 3 working days, then delivered in 7 to 12 working days by tracked delivery. Delivery is free, with no minimum spend.
It depends on the design. Table lamps and floor lamps simply plug into a socket. Pendant lights, chandeliers, ceiling lights and wall lights connect to the wires in your ceiling or wall, or to a plug-in ceiling connector, once the power is switched off at the fuse box.
Our installation guide takes you through every step; if you prefer, ask an electrician to fit it — the technical specifications give them everything they need.
It’s stated in the technical specifications of every product (“Bulb: included” or “not included”), along with the bulb base. When bulbs aren’t supplied, the base is usually a standard one (E27 or E14) that you’ll find in any DIY shop.
Yes. Damaged, faulty or not as described: return at our expense, with a replacement or refund. If you simply change your mind, you have 14 days from delivery to send it back, unused and in its original packaging; in that case, return postage is at your expense.
